We’ll be offering tours of the facility, which includes a state-of-the-art robotic parts retrieval system, and we’ll be offering a down-home country barbecue in the parking lot and carnival games for the children.

  1. Invitation to Family Day

Do you miss your wife and kids? Does your husband have no idea what you do at work? Want to show off your workspace to mon and dad?

On Friday, May 18, beginning at 4 p.m., we’re opening the doors to [Company Name] for our annual family day. You’re welcome to invite your spouse, domestic partner, children, and other members of your immediate family to come to our Lumbertown headquarters.

We’ll be offering escorted tours of the manufacturing line and you’re welcome to show your family around your own department. At 5 p.m. we’ll gather in the south parking lot for a catered barbecue, with a surprise entertainment act.

Please submit a list of all guests you expect to attend the Family Day to your departmental supervisor no later than noon on May 16; you will receive pre-printed guest passes to bring home on May 17. All attendees over the age of sixteen must bring a government-issued photo id; children sixteen or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

  1. Invitation to reception for retired employees

On Friday, September 18, we’re inviting former employees of [Company Name] to our annual homecoming day luncheon.

We’ll include tours of the offices and manufacturing plant, a demonstration of our current products, and lunch with senior executives. And we promise a few special surprises, too.

You’re welcome to invite your spouse, domestic partner, or other members of your immediate family to come to our Lumbertown headquarters.

Tours will depart at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. In a tent set up in the south parking lot.
