Although I am leaving this company, I want to say here that I enjoyed my time a lot while working in this company for almost ten years. Your kind cooperation, training opportunities coupled with senior guidance helped me grow into a successful sales manager.
I have decided to grow as far as my career is concerned. There is no doubt in it that you offered me a relatively higher position in your organization but the fact is that I was not facing any kind of competition in this organization. That is why I have decided to join another organization that is relatively more competitive and where the chances of success are much more.
I know that my immediate resignation can have a drastic effect on the performance of the organization and considering this thing, I have planned to train your nominated candidate to make this transition as smooth as possible. I am sure you will find another suitable candidate for my vacant position.
I am requesting you to accept my resignation and it should be thought to be effective from 1st of next month. I am informing you well before time so as to give you sufficient time to find the best-suited candidate for my position.

I am writing you this letter to inform you that I am resigning from my position of Finance Manager at [ABC] organization. For the last couple of months, I have been thinking to grow myself in terms of my career. Fortunately, during the last week, I was offered a position in a more competitive organization and the most suited thing to me is that I have been offered this position at the company headquarter which is located near my home. So, in this way, I can also save the time of commute.
Apart from saving the travel time, there is another reason behind my resignation. Keeping in view my experience with your organization, I am being offered the position of Director of Finance which is more competitive as compared to my current one. I believe that if I join that company, my career growth will be accelerated.
Yes, I am leaving this company but I want to say that I spent quality time while working here in this organization. I will remember this time in terms of the best spent days of my life.
